I Love Creativity
I continue to be amazed at the creativity that people have in so many areas of life. When that creativity is related to and inspired by something that Roselle and I did, it is especially meaningful,
The other day I was contacted by a musician Michael Gaither. He asked me if I would listen to a song about Roselle and I and our 9-11 story. I am including that video here and a brief bio of Michael. I hope you all enjoy it as much as I did. I am honored that my our story can be an inspiration to others. Here’s the video and bio.
Michael Gaither was raised on the central California coast and takes the “write what you know” idea to heart, wrapping songs around small-town life with humorous takes on the everyday. He turned to songwriting after a background in journalism and a narrow brush with standup comedy. (He sold jokes to Jay Leno. Back when Jay Leno was still funny.) Michael has released three studio CDs of original material, along with a holiday EP, all of which have received international airplay.
Offstage, he produces/hosts the “Songs and Stories” podcast, which features stories behind his songs and interviews with other independent songwriters.
Michael and his wife have raised guide dogs in the past and are currently active with several Monterey Bay area dog rescue organizations, helping to foster dogs and find them homes.
