Hi Michael,
I met you at the State Convention of the National Federation of the Blind of Florida in Orlando last week. I am sighted, but attended the convention with my wife Kimberly and her guide dog Walker.
I wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed the story you shared with us about your experiences on 9/ll. While I know that your story was directed to the visually impaired at the convention, I think it should be even more of an inspiration to people who are sighted (Kim Calls us “sightlings” ), who feel like even the slightest problem they run up against is more than they can handle.
I really enjoyed meeting you and Africa and hope you both the best in the future. You are both pretty amazing.

Just found this website, because I wanted to learn how to write my name in Braille.
My friend is blind in one eye and she is teaching me braille.

Congratulations on your new website Michael! After meeting Africa I think we agree she is going to be a wonderful Guide. She certainly has the energy to keep up with your active schedule, and her personality is very sweet. Perhaps Roselle can share her wisdom with Africa on how to be the best guide she can be, although those are pretty big paw booties to fill.
